itSM³ Assessment and Maturity Level
Our itSM³ Assessment offers the possibility to evaluate and to increase the performance of IT operations. If required IT operations. If required IT Operations can be certified by an independent accredited organisation, the so-called "RCB" (Registered Certification Body). Within the assessment we will ascertain specific maturity levels for the defined and elected processes. Maturity levels are based on the ISO 15504 (SPICE). Alll aspects of process development are considered: Management, Processes, Technology and last not least People.
The Assessment is based on ITILTM and the standard ISO/IEC 20000 (BS15000-1:2002). The Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITILTM) is the only consistent and comprehensive documentation of best practice for IT Service Management. Aligned with and complementary to processes within ITIL the ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 (BS 15000) is the first worldwide standard specifically aimed at IT Service Management and allows the certification by RCB´s. It describes an integrated set of management processes which ensures that IT processes and IT resources are organized for the effective delivery of services to internal and external customers.
According to an agreed project plan all relevant information will be ascertained via interviews and on the basis of documentation with our tool based procedure. The evaluation of all information leads to the maturity level for each process und gives recommendations for improvement. Therefore an objective and transparent initial situation for further development is given.
Consulting aimed at ISO 20000 Certification
Based on a status quo analysis we support our clients on their way to ITIL and ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 Certification. A status quo analysis can be given by the itSM³ Assessment or by a pre-audit according to ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005. Each project is fitted to the customer. Well trained and experienced consultants know the specific requirements of ISO/IEC 20000 and ITIL and they conjoin them with further requirements of the operations. The result is a live set of processes providing IT service quality to meet the business needs.
IT Service provider, who are on a high maturity level according to ITIL respectively to ISO/IEC 20000, can execute a pre-audit. This is to ensure that all relevant requirements are met und it gives the possibility to take the last steps. Within the pre-audit all requirement of the standard are aligned with the real processes. The audit report gives a clear status about ability to be certified. Potentially the extent of the certification audit can be decreased. Experienced and certified auditors (consultants) guarantee service on a high level.
