At the LED Symposium in Bregenz, TÜV SÜD will present services for lamps and luminaires. The trade fair will take place from 26 to 28 September 2017. TÜV SÜD can be found at stand A 17. Exhibitors at the trade fair include suppliers of systems, components and devices in the lighting industry seeking to exchange information about the latest trends and developments. On 28 September 2017, TÜV SÜD expert Marvin Henry Böll will speak on “Standards and Design Guidelines on Artificial Lighting for Indoor Farming”.
TÜV SÜD's stand will focus on compliance with national and international standards and directives. In the future, systems, components and devices in the lighting industry will have to comply with increased normative requirements. In addition to the full range of EU certifications, TÜV SÜD offers numerous services in the field of global market access (GMA) for lighting equipment, LED lamps, LED modules and their drivers. These include validation pursuant to NRTL, ENEC and ENEC+, CCC, according to the CB procedure, Zhaga and the Product Safety Act (ProdSG – GS mark), testing according to the international standards for electromagnetic compatibility, chemical testing, testing for energy efficiency and other performance indicators.
