Directive 2010/35/EU on Transportable Pressure Equipment (TPED)

Since July 1st 2001 TPED (1999/36/EC) is applicable regarding the conformity assessment of new cylinders, tubes and cryogenic receptacles. On July 1st 2005 the scope of TPED was extended regarding pressure drums, bundles of cylinders and tanks for gases of class 2 of ADR/RID. In July 2011 the new version of TPED (2010/35/EU) was enforced.
