TÜV SÜD today signed an agreement with the Iran Energy Conservation Society (IECS) regarding a cooperation in the area of Testing, Inspection, Certification, Consultancy, Engineering and Training. The collaboration aims at ensuring quality and increasing efficiency, reliability and performance of existing and new facilities in a broad range of branches: From transportation, infrastructure, energy, chemical, oil & gas, telecommunication and consumer products up to healthcare.
IECS plays an important role in energy debates in national scale in cooperation with its more than 100 members and partners. IECS aims summarized as consultation, design, evaluation, implementation and management in the field of renewable energies, energy saving, public transport, pollution control, construction and water supply.
Arash Najafi, President of IECS, and Chris Meier, Business Unit Manager TÜV SÜD, signed the agreement in Teheran. Chris Meier is enthusiastic about the new task: “We are very happy to collaborate with the experts of IECS. That gives us the chance to bring our experience of 150 years of technical expertise to the relevant and exciting Iranian market.
