BSCI

BSCI is the common European platform of retailers, industry and importing companies for monitoring and improving social standards in supplier countries for all consumer goods. It is based on the conventions of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and other important international regulations like the UN Charter for Human Rights, as well as national regulations.

The Initiative aims to continuously improve the social performance of suppliers. This leads to best practices like SA8000^®certification or equivalent, thereby creating sustainability-enhancing factory working conditions. TÜV SÜD's experienced auditors are fully qualified, through the Social Accountability International (SAI) training programme, to help your company achieve full compliance to BSCI.
