These tests can all be performed under EMVCo in different environments (Universal Integrated Circuit Card (UICC), embedded Secure Element, Host Card Emulation (HCE)) without the need to go through different schemes.
“With this accreditation, TÜV SÜD Zacta can assist manufacturers in confirming that their mobile handsets are in line with the industry in terms of transmission and processing times and can also communicate effectively with existing payment terminals around the world”, explains Fabien Bocquet, Manager Smartcard Systems at TÜV SÜD Zacta. “Priority has been given to the automation and speed of our test system, with the aim of ensuring that every step of this approval is performed in a fast and accurate manner. This reduces the need for lengthy certification processes and therefore supports manufacturers in bringing their products to market faster.”
