TÜV SÜD and Munich Network have launched the application phase for the 2016 TÜV SÜD Innovation Award for Digitized Industries. The award, which is accompanied by a prize of EUR 6,000, is presented to startups which are developing especially promising solutions in the field of ‘Industry 4.0’, also known as the ‘Fourth Industrial Revolution’, and have proved the market-readiness of their solution in at least one project.
The TÜV SÜD Innovation Award for Digitized Industries will be presented for the third time in 2016. The award-winners from the previous two years were ViDi Systems SA, from the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland, and Synapticon GmbH from Filderstadt. Applications can be submitted up to 28 August 2016. The award ceremony will be held during the 2016 Smart Factory Innovation Forum in Munich on 18 October 2016. At the event, the best applicants will have the opportunity to present their solutions. Interested startups from Germany and other countries can apply for the TÜV SÜD Innovation Award for Digitized Industries by submitting their innovative digital solutions in one of four categories known as search fields.
