1st INTERNATIONAL MUNICH CHASSIS SYPMPOSIUM – 8th and 9th of June 2010

In the future, the suspension, steering, brakes and tyres of passenger cars and commercial vehicles will increasingly become part of a networked chassis system. This system will communicate with active and passive safety systems and with driver assistance systems via the on-board electronic network. Data fusion from a large number of sensors will provide a much better picture of the driving situation at a particular time, and a wide range of actuators will ensure that the chassis is adapted even more decisively to the requirements of driving dynamics.

In response to this trend, ATZ live and TÜV SÜD Automotive have combined the established congresses chassis.tech, steering.tech, brake.tech and tire.wheel.tech to form a new congress called chassis.techplus. The new congress will take place annually and the first will be held on 8 and 9 June 2010 in Munich.

The new chassis.techplus provides an increasingly important overall view of all systems relevant for driving dynamics. In addition, the individual disciplines of the chassis, steering, brakes and tyres will be discussed in detail in specialist sections.
