Project Outline
The EQUAL 2 project "PRO-FIT for Augsburg - creating added value in the city boroughs" combined on-going corporate consulting with training courses for company employees and job-seekers. The initial idea behind PRO-FIT was to help firms to improve their position on the market, as this is the only way in which they can employ additional personnel. Greater strategic cooperation in the respective city borough or urban region aimed to nurture networks for a mutual strengthening of the businesses involved and to boost the town districts. The partners in the PRO-FIT know-how alliance offered local firms advice, training with qualifications and selective access to experts at all phases of their corporate development.
