(16.10.2012)TÜV SÜD Akademie will provide training worldwide to all Bosch employees who work on or near high-voltage systems. Following a call for tender, Bosch decided in favour of TÜV SÜD Akademie. The training provided to the Bosch employees will be based on the strict German safety regulations (BGI 8686 and BGR A3). TÜV SÜD Akademie has also designed special seminars for members of staff involved in battery assembly. The first training courses in Germany and China are already under way, and further training courses will shortly be launched in various countries including the UK, USA, India and Japan.

(24.09.2012)The HyFacts project to develop a European training programme on hydrogen safety, funded by the European Commission and co-ordinated by TÜV SÜD Akademie, has now kicked off. Eleven officials from Germany's approval and licensing authorities, fire brigade and police academy attended the first training to improve their knowledge of hydrogen and fuel-cell technology, which they need in areas including the approval and licensing of hydrogen refuelling stations.
